The Sohang Yoga Legging was created by Cornelia Kauhs, founder of Breath of Fire, as the close-fit, minimal-line companion to our legendary Sohang Pants. Same fabric, same gaiters, same intention — but in a sleeker silhouette designed to follow the body through every kind of practice.
A personal note from Pernelle, co-founder: "This is honestly my favourite legging for yoga. It works with every style — slow or flowing — and the waistband is incredibly comfortable to fold up over the belly and lower back when I move into seated and floor postures. When the waistband is folded down, the legging is genuinely beautiful — clean lines, refined drape."
Since 2009, the Sohang family has been the foundation of everything Breath of Fire stands for. Worn by thousands of practitioners across Europe, the Sohang Legging brings the same feeling of being gently held — never compressed, simply anchored — allowing the body to settle and lengthen naturally.
What makes it unique
- Versatile pressure-free waistband — fold it up over the belly and lower back for seated and floor postures, fold it down for a refined silhouette. Never compressive.
- Jodhpur-inspired long line — follows the legs with continuity, creating a clean, elegant silhouette from hip to ankle.
- Integrated gaiters — soft foot warmers that wrap gently around the feet, slide under during inversions, or fold up to adjust length.
- 220g brushed jersey — the same soft organic cotton as our Sohang Pants. Holds its shape wash after wash, feels like a second skin.

Maternity-friendly
The Sohang Legging is also a beautifully comfortable choice during pregnancy and postpartum. Simply choose one size up from your usual — the soft brushed cotton and pressure-free waistband adapt easily to a growing belly, and you can wear it comfortably through the full pregnancy and the months after. The waistband can be folded up over a bump for support, or folded down post-partum for everyday ease.
Honest note on fit
The Sohang Legging is close-fit but never compressive — designed for breath and ease rather than tight support. If you're looking for something different, we genuinely recommend:
- The Sohang Yoga Short — same family, made for warmer days or as a complement to the legging.
- The Vega Leggings — a true close-fit, lightly compressive yoga legging designed for high-intensity practice and everyday wear.

Ethically made in Europe
Every Sohang Legging is knitted, dyed and sewn in Portugal, in the same small family workshop as our Sohang Pants — a place we visit personally. All fabrics are certified organic and dyed with processes gentle enough for a baby's skin. 92% certified organic cotton · 8% elastane for lasting shape and comfort.
Styling tip
For a refined silhouette, choose the same colour for your top and legging. The tonal look creates a subtle vertical line that visually elongates the body — effortless and timeless. Pairs beautifully with the Sohang Top and the Amba Jacket.

Pregnancy: choose one size above your usual; the legging accompanies the full pregnancy and postpartum.
*Measurements are indicative; a tolerance of ±2 cm is normal due to the fabric and production process.
Care
Machine wash at 30°C, inside out. Air dry only — no tumble dryer. This preserves the elastane and keeps the fabric beautiful for years.
