FAQ – Breath of Fire
Welcome to our FAQ. We are a small, family-run brand and we take time to answer personally, not automatically. Every piece you buy from Breath of Fire is born from love for yoga, beauty, and nature. Here are answers to the questions we hear most often.
1. Do I need an account to place an order?
No account is required — you only need your email to order.
If you register, you'll enjoy some gentle extras: a faster checkout, saved wishlists, and easy access to your order history or return request. It's a way of staying closer to us.
2. I forgot my password — what should I do?
No stress. Simply visit My Account, click Reset Password, and you'll receive a link to set a new one.
3. How can I receive Breath of Fire news?
At the bottom of every page, you'll find a place to sign up for our newsletter. We send only what we would like to receive ourselves:
- new collections and timeless pieces,
- invitations to yoga & sound events,
- mindful living tips,
- exclusive offers for our community.
4. How do I place an order?
It's simple and mindful:
- Browse our collections in the menu or search for your favourite style.
- Choose your colour and size, then click Add to Cart.
- When you're ready, go to your cart and checkout.
- Enter your shipping details and payment method.
- Confirm your order — and we'll take care of the rest.
Orders are prepared Monday to Friday (8:00–15:00) and dispatched within 1–2 working days from our partner warehouse in Germany. Swiss orders are dispatched from Cully on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
5. Can I order by phone?
Yes. If you ever prefer a voice to a screen, we are happy to help you place an order by phone: +41 76 303 64 18. Our number does not incur additional charges, but international call rates may apply depending on your phone plan.
6. Where can I find size and fit advice?
On each product page, you'll find a size guide with body measurements. Our clothes are designed by yoginis, with freedom of movement and elegance in mind. If you're unsure between two sizes, write to us — a real person will guide you to your best fit.
7. Can I cancel or change my order?
We prepare orders quickly. If you need to cancel or change something, please contact us immediately. Once an item is packed, changes are no longer possible.
- To cancel: write to us as soon as possible or give us a phone call.
- To add an item: please write as fast as possible, we will try our best. If we can't, please place a new order.

8. Will my size or colour be back in stock?
Most of our designs are evergreen, meaning we restock them regularly. If your size or colour is sold out, send us an email — we'll inform you as soon as it's available again.
9. Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept:
- Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Union Pay
- Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay
- PayPal
- Twint (Switzerland)
- Bank transfer — orders ship once payment is received. For this option, please contact us.
10. How much is shipping?
- European Union: free over 150 EUR. Below that, costs are calculated at checkout based on destination.
- Switzerland: free over 140 CHF. Below that, a flat rate of 9 CHF applies.
- International (outside EU & Switzerland): customs duties, taxes and delivery fees are the customer's responsibility (including the UK). Please check with your local customs office before ordering.
The exact cost appears at checkout before you confirm. We avoid hidden fees — transparency is part of our values.
11. When will I receive my order?
- European Union: 3–8 working days after dispatch (2–5 working days for Germany), shipped via GLS from our warehouse in Germany.
- Switzerland: 3–5 working days after dispatch, shipped via Swiss Post from Cully. Dispatch days: Tuesdays & Thursdays.
- International: delivery times depend on your local postal service and customs clearance.
You'll receive a tracking link once your package is on its way. Delivery times are estimates — Breath of Fire cannot guarantee exact dates.
12. What is your returns policy?
You have 30 days from delivery to return an item. Returned pieces must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, in original condition, with all tags attached.
- European orders: returns, exchanges and production issues are handled via our ReturnGO portal. A return label is provided automatically and the cost is deducted from your refund or store credit.
- Swiss orders: send your parcel back via Swiss Post to Breath of Fire – P. Rochat, Chemin du Grandsonnet 12, 1422 Grandson. Include a note indicating whether you'd like a refund or exchange. Return shipping is at your expense.
- Exchanges: we cover the outbound shipping of the replacement item.
Refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days after we receive and inspect the return (bank processing time may add a few days).

13. How can I determine my clothing size?
Take a few body measurements with a soft tape:
- Bust → fullest part of your chest
- Waist → narrowest point
- Hips → widest part
- Inseam → crotch to ankle
Our clothes are designed for yoga, meditation, and daily life — meaning they follow the body differently than conventional fashion. Consider your height and weight too. And if you need help, we're only an email away.
14. Where are your clothes made?
Our collections are designed in Switzerland and produced in a small workshop in Portugal, with whom we've worked since 2009. During the organic cotton shortage, we also worked on our Evolve collection with a trusted partner in Turkey.
We visit our partners regularly, know the people who sew our garments, and keep the chain ethical, transparent, and local.
15. How should I care for my clothes?
To make your clothing last longer:
- wash cold or at max 30°C,
- avoid tumble drying,
- use a gentle, eco-friendly detergent,
- wash with similar colours.
Breath of Fire pieces are designed to stay with you for years — mindful care is part of sustainable fashion.
16. Where do you ship?
We ship to:
- Switzerland — from our Swiss stock in Cully (no additional taxes or duties).
- European Union — from our warehouse in Germany.
- International orders (outside EU & Switzerland) — including the UK. Customs duties, taxes and delivery fees are at the customer's expense.
We are legally required to declare the full order value on customs forms. We cannot mark shipments as lower value or as gifts.
17. Do you offer gift cards?
Yes — a Breath of Fire gift card is a beautiful way to share yoga and mindful fashion with someone you love.
18. What makes Breath of Fire different?
We are not fast fashion. We are not a big brand. You are not a number to us.
- We are a family, not an industry.
- We design from yoga practice, not trends.
- We produce in small runs, in Europe, with respect for people and nature.
- We see clothing as a frequency — something you carry in your daily life, close to your skin.
When you wear Breath of Fire, you're wearing more than fabric. You're wearing a mindful choice.
