Breath of Fire
Yamala Yoga Pants — Straight-Leg Organic Cotton Yoga Pants with Integrated Skirt and Adjustable Hem
- A few left in stock!
Structured, fluid, and quietly composed — straight-leg yoga pants designed for movement and everyday ease.
The Yamala Pants were created by Cornelia Kauhs, founder of Breath of Fire, to bring together structure, softness, and freedom of movement. The straight-leg cut offers a clean, timeless line, while the integrated hip skirt adds gentle coverage and fluidity without restricting the body.
Created for practice but easy to wear beyond it, Yamala supports natural breathing, alignment, and long wear — a piece that feels composed, comfortable, and effortless throughout the day.
What makes it unique
- Straight-leg cut — clean, timeless line for a refined silhouette in both movement and daily wear.
- Integrated hip skirt — adds gentle coverage and fluidity over the hips without restricting the body.
- Adjustable elastic hem — a soft cord at the ankle lets you cinch the leg into a tapered fit, knot it for a casual look, or use it to adjust the length.
- Pressure-free waistband — gentle support without belly compression, allowing natural, full breath.
- 220g brushed jersey — the same soft organic cotton as our Sohang Pants. Holds its shape wash after wash, feels like a second skin.
Best for
- All yoga styles — from grounded Hatha and Yin to flowing Vinyasa and Ashtanga
- Movement-led practice — the straight leg leaves room for active flow
- Meditation, pranayama and seated postures — the waistband never tightens
- Everyday wear — refined enough for daily styling, comfortable for travel
Honest note on fit
The Yamala is a straight-leg pant with integrated skirt and adjustable hem. If you're looking for something different, we genuinely recommend:
- The Sohang Yoga Pants — same Sohang family with integrated skirt, but with a more enveloping volume for slow and grounded practice.
- The Inderjit Yoga Pants 3/4 — the summer cropped version with integrated skirt, for warm days and lighter coverage.
Ethically made in Europe
Every Yamala Pant is knitted, dyed and sewn in Portugal, in the same small family workshop as our Sohang Pants — a place we visit personally. All fabrics are certified organic and dyed with processes gentle enough for a baby's skin. 92% certified organic cotton · 8% elastane for lasting shape and comfort.
Styling tip
For a refined silhouette, choose the same colour for your top and pants. The tonal look creates a subtle vertical line that visually elongates the body — effortless and timeless. Pairs beautifully with the Sohang Top, Siri Pullover, Amba Wrap and Mizar Kimono. Cinch the hem at the ankle for a sleek tapered look, or let it loose for a softer drape.
Size guide
| Size | Weight (kg) | Height (cm) | Inside leg (cm) | Fit notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 40–60 | 145–170 | 81 | Close, elegant fit for petite to medium frames |
| S | 45–65 | 150–175 | 82 | Balanced straight fit for everyday wear |
| M | 55–70 | 155–183 | 88 | Comfort fit; easy movement and drape |
| L | 60–80 | 160–188 | 88 | Relaxed straight leg for taller or curvier silhouettes |
Between two sizes? Size down for a closer, more elegant fit — size up for more drape.
The adjustable hem lets you fine-tune the length, so don't worry if the pants feel a touch long when first worn.
*Measurements are indicative; a tolerance of ±2 cm is normal due to the fabric and production process.
Care
Machine wash at 30°C, inside out. Air dry only — no tumble dryer. This preserves the elastane and keeps the fabric beautiful for years.

Yamala & Siri — designed as a set
The Yamala Pants and Siri Shirt were developed together, with the intention of creating a complete outfit — an alternative to the Sohang set for those who love the Breath of Fire aesthetic in a more classic, everyday expression.
Yamala keeps the signature skirt concept while offering a different cut, with less fabric at the lower leg and no gaiters, making it easier to wear in the city and beyond practice. Paired with the Siri Shirt, elegant thanks to its batwing cut and boat neckline, the silhouette feels composed, refined, and naturally effortless.
When worn over the Sohang Top, the Siri Shirt subtly reveals the straps underneath, creating a delicate play of layers and a refined touch of color — a quiet detail that adds elegance without effort.
Developed over the years at the request of our community, the Yamala & Siri combination has become a lasting wardrobe essential. A set designed to be lived in, and often adopted once tried — especially by those seeking a more classic look, while still keeping the softness and presence of a skirt.
