RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
Our Commitment
At Breath of Fire, we create high-quality garments through mindful, ethical and small-batch production. Each piece is crafted with care. Slight variations in fabric, color or finish may occur and are part of the unique character of responsibly made, hand-finished clothing.
If you have any questions regarding fit, sizing or cut, we strongly recommend contacting us before placing your order. Our team is always happy to help you choose the right piece and avoid unnecessary returns.
RETURN ELIGIBILITY & TIMEFRAME
Return period
Returns must be requested and shipped within 30 days of delivery.
Requests submitted outside these timeframes cannot be accepted.
ITEM CONDITION
Returned items must be:
- Unworn
- Unwashed
- Unaltered
- In original condition
- With all tags attached
Please reuse the original packaging whenever possible.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Worn, washed or altered items
- Items returned without tags
- Items damaged due to improper care or misuse
- Items with strong odors, stains or signs of wear
- Store credit and gift cards
Returns that do not meet our conditions may be refused or returned to the customer at their expense.
RETURN SHIPPING & FEES
FOR EUROPEAN ORDERS:
Please use ReturnGO to ensure a simple, structured and transparent return process.
- A return shipping label is provided via the ReturnGO platform
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- The cost of the return label will be automatically deducted from:
- the refund amount, or
- the store credit issued
No upfront payment is required for the return label.
Returned items remain the responsibility of the customer until received at our warehouse. We strongly recommend keeping proof of shipment.

FOR SWISS ORDERS:
As we handle all shipping and returns ourselves, you simply need to send the items back via Swiss Post to the following address:

Please note that we do not provide return labels for Switzerland.
Kindly include a note in the parcel indicating whether you would like an exchange or a refund.
SHIPPING FEES & FREE SHIPPING CONDITIONS
Outbound shipping fees
Shipping fees paid at checkout are non-refundable, as the shipping service has been fully performed once the order has been dispatched.
Free shipping threshold – full order returns
Orders above 150 € may benefit from free shipping.
If the entire order is returned, the free shipping benefit no longer applies. In this case:
- The original outbound shipping costs and
- The return shipping costs
will be deducted from the refund or store credit.
If only part of the order is returned and the remaining items still meet the free shipping threshold, the free shipping benefit remains valid.
HOW TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE
FOR EUROPEAN ORDERS:
All returns, exchanges and production issues are handled via ReturnGO.
- Submit your request via the ReturnGO portal.
- Select the reason for your request (return, exchange, or production issue).
- Choose your preferred solution (refund or store credit, if applicable).
- We will then receive and process your request. Once it is approved, you will receive an email where you can download and print your return label.
- Send the parcel using the provided label. Tracking of the return parcel will then be automated for both you and us.
- If all requirements are met and the items are approved for refund, the refund will be processed automatically once the items have been received, checked, and reconditioned.

Include a note inside the parcel indicating whether you would like an exchange or a refund.
Once received, we will process your return and assist you with an exchange as best as possible, depending on stock availability.

REFUNDS
Once your return has been received and approved, following a processing period of 5 to 8 business days:
- A refund will be issued to the original payment method
- The return shipping fee (and where applicable outbound shipping fees) will be deducted
- Taxes, duties, and customs fees are non-refundable, as they have been collected by your government.
Refund timeline
Refunds may take 5 to 10 business days to appear on your account, depending on your payment provider.
STORE CREDIT
If you choose store credit:
- The return shipping fee (and where applicable outbound shipping fees) will be deducted
- Store credit is issued faster than refunds
- Store credit has no expiration date
FAULTY ITEMS & PRODUCTION ISSUES
Despite strict quality control, rare manufacturing defects may occur.
If you receive a faulty item:
- For Euorpean orders please submit a request via ReturnGO within 30 days of delivery. For Swiss orders, please contact us within the same timeframe by email at contact@breath-of-fire.ch
- Please include clear photos and a description of the issue
Each case is reviewed individually. Depending on the situation, we may offer:
- A replacement
- Or a refund
We reserve the right to request the return of the item for inspection before processing any solution.
After 30 days, the item will be considered accepted by the customer.
FIT, PERSONAL PREFERENCE & VARIATIONS
Fit, comfort and personal perception (length, looseness, feel of fabric) are subjective and do not constitute manufacturing defects.
Due to ethical production and small-batch manufacturing, slight variations in color, texture or weight may occur and are not considered defects.
TAXES, DUTIES & IMPORT RESPONSIBILITY
Customs duties, VAT and import taxes may apply depending on your country.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to inform themselves about import regulations applicable in their country
- Any taxes, duties or customs fees are non-refundable
- Breath of Fire cannot be held responsible for delays or charges caused by customs authorities
SHIPPING ORIGIN
- Orders shipped to Switzerland are dispatched from Switzerland
- All other orders are shipped from Germany
UNCLAIMED OR REFUSED PARCELS
Parcels that are refused or not collected and returned to us may incur additional return shipping and handling fees. These fees will be deducted from the refund or store credit.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Our garments are designed to last with proper care.
Please follow the care instructions provided with each garment.
If you are unsure, contact us before washing, we are happy to advise.
